Montco Man Charged With More Than 100 Counts Of Child Porn: DA

A Huntington Valley man has been arrested and charged with more than 100 counts of child pornography, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Robert J. Giuffrida, 38, allegedly had numerous videos and images of child pornography on his home computer and iPhone, authorities said.

An investigation into Giuffrida began in May and continued into December, as Abington Township detectives searched online for child porn offenders.

Detective Rick Beaghley made a connection to a computer hosting child pornography, and traced the IP address back to Giuffrida’s home.

Giuffrida will be charged with 106 felony count of sexual abuse of children.

Lower Moreland Police and Special County Detectives investigating sex crimes assisted in the case.

A preliminary hearing is set for February 2.
