Montgomery County Homicide Victim Was Targeted, Reports Say
The shooting of the victim, who has now been identified, was not random, officials said.

The victim of a homicide in Lower Moreland on Sunday night was targeted, officials believe, according to multiple reports.
The victim, Kevin Brown, 53, was shot at 11 p.m. at his home on 2388 Philmont Avenue, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said.
The shooting was not random, according to First District Attorney Kevin Steel, but the office is declining to offer a motive at this time, Philly.com reports.

Brown was found on the lawn in front of his house by police.
He was then transported to Abington Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Brown’s wife also escaped out the window, and at least two children were inside the house when police arrived, according to reports.
The suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the home invasion and is still on the loose, reports state.
