Montgomery County Lawyer Turned Drug Dealer Tries To Hold Onto Cash: Report

A Montgomery County defense lawyer-turned drug dealer is fighting to keep $8,000 that was seized from his home during a drug investigation, according to a report in the Pottstown Mercury.

Towamencin resident Gregory Noonan claims the funds are his personal savings, the report states.

The money was found wrapped in bundles in a drawer of his home on Oberlin Terrace in late 2013, according to the report.

Prosecutors say the money came from drug dealing, as they confiscated it along with two loaded guns found in his home during the investigation, the report states.

Noonan’s former law partner believes he took the funds from the firm and the money should be returned, according to the report.
