Montgomery County Man Arrested For Child Porn Possession: DA
74 images and 2 videos were recovered which depicted children involved in sexual acts or poses.
A Hatboro man was arrested on child pornography possession charges on Monday, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announced.
Russell Hunt Bates, 33, was discovered by East Norriton Township police detectives that went undercover online, Ferman said.
“Hundreds of pieces” of child pornography files were suspected to be on Bates’ computer, according to the DA. Among them were images of naked children and children being sexually assaulted by adults.

On August 27, a warrant was served at Bates’ home on 50 South Penn Street, the DA said.
