Montgomery County Man Faces 81 Counts Of Distributing Child Porn: DA

A Norristown man was arrested on September 4 and faces 81 counts of distribution of child pornography, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office announced on Tuesday.

Victor William Bennett Jr., 30, was first investigated on April 18 by an undercover Montgomery County Detective, the DA’s office said.

Bennett allegedly shared 44 child pornography movies and 37 videos with the detective during the operation, according to the DA.

Once Bennett was identified, county detectives and the Norristown Police Department searched his home, and found a number of computers which revealed video files and images of children performing sexual acts, the DA said.

Bennett immediately waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and his formal arraignment is pending, according to the DA.
