Montgomery County Man Sentenced For Raping Child For Seven Years: Report

The child was reportedly in his care during that time period.

A Norristown man has been sentenced to prison for raping a boy in his care for seven years, according to a report in The Times Herald.

William Stern, 51, of the first block of Galbraith Avenue, will spend the next 25 to 50 years in state prison, the report states.

The assaults occurred between 2007 and 2014 and came to light when the victim, 18, told the West Norriton Police Department that Stern had been sexually abusing him since he was 11 years old, the report states.

Stern claimed he wanted to see how the victim was “developing sexually,” according to the report.
