Montgomery County Teens Steal And Then Wreck Cars Overnight: Police

Four "suspicious" males were reported pulling on car door handles in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A pair of Pottstown teens stole two cars overnight and crashed them, wrecking both, according to the Limerick Police Department.

A resident on Brooke Drive reported four suspicious males pulling on car door handles after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, police said.

When police arrived in the area they saw two vehicles flee at a high rate of speed, they said.

Both cars turned onto Royersford Road and lost control, crashing, according to police.

The teens arrested were 15 and 16, police said, while two others remain at large.

The white vehicle had been stolen in Pottstown on Sunday, while the black vehicle was stolen Wednesday morning in Upper Providence, police said.
