Mother, Son Missing From Montgomery County Found Safe

A local mother and her 3-year-old son who went missing this week have been found safe, authorities confirmed.

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A mother and her young son who were reported missing from Montgomery County have been found safe, authorities confirmed. Officials thanked the public for their assistance.

Leila Abbasi, 34, and her three-year-old son, Aryan Tabei, have not been seen since around 2 p.m. on Friday, according to authorities.

Their last known location was on the 400 block of Tomlinson Road in Huntingdon Valley.

Abbasi's son suffers from a digestive disorder, police said, and Abassi suffers from depression and speaks limited English. Her native tongue is Farsi.

She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has a medium build, light complexion, black eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black yoga pants and black shirt with gold writing on the front.

Her son was last seen wearing a gray fluffy jacket.
