National Figure Joins Ron Perilstein and FELS At Their Love Our Kids Gala
Rabbi David Wolpe, named most influential Rabbi in America by Newsweek, will be a guest speaker at the Federation Early Learning Services (FELS) Love Our Kids Gala on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Returning to his roots, Rabbi Wolpe will join Ron Perilstein, FELS honoree at Har Zion Temple where they both have longtime, personal connections. Wolpe has appeared on the Today Show and Face the Nation, has been featured on PBS, A&E and the History and Discovery channels; is the author of eight books, including a national best seller and his new book David: The Divided Heart has been optioned for a movie. He is the Rabbi of Temple Sinai in Los Angeles, a writer and a columnist for many such publications such as the LA Times and The Huffington Post.
Perilstein, currently an Honorary Life Director and a former FELS Board Chair has been a board member for nearly 20 years of the organization’s 104 year history. Throughout his tenure on the FELS board, Ron has worked tirelessly sharing his wisdom, humor, vision and integrity, in the multitude of leadership roles he has held in this organization.

Perilstein, President of The Arjay Group Inc., an insurance brokerage firm, lives in Narberth with his wife Jayne.
His commitment to the Jewish community is evident. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Overseers at Penn Hillel and a Vice President of Har Zion Temple. He is also a member of the board of the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life, Federation Endowments Corporation and Hillel of Greater Philadelphia.
