A fire in Upper Moreland over the weekend led to one person being hospitalized.

UPPER MORELAND, PA -- A fire in Upper Moreland over the weekend led to one person being hospitalized, authorities confirmed.
The blaze occurred at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 16 on Veser Lane, fire officials said.
Arriving crews encountered heavy flames coming from a home in the neighborhood.

The blaze was extinguished, but one person had to be rescued from the house and immediately taken to Abington Memorial Hospital, officials said.
No other injuries were reported, and the extent of the property damage is not yet clear.
