Montgomery County Couple Allegedly Victimized Seniors: DA
A Montco couple somehow obtained the financial information of eight people, mostly seniors, and applied for fraudulent loans in their name.

Police are seeking a Montgomery County couple accused of stealing approximately $124,981 from people through identity theft, according to District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.
Eric and Portia Martin, owners of Fort Washington-based Centra Spike Inc., an HVAC company, stole the money from victims by creating credit accounts, the DA’s office said.
The Martins somehow obtained identifying information from eight people and applied for fraudulent loans to Synchrony Financial to pay for what they claimed to be “HVAC services,” according to the DA.
