Queen of Angels' Kindergarten Celebrate Phillies Home Opener

Continuing an annual tradition, Queen of Angels' kindergarten celebrated the Phillies home opener today. All students were asked to wear their Phillies gear, heard the story "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" read by our Principal, Sister Margaret Rose Adams, IHM and then were thrilled to hear they were heading outside to have a game of their own. After honoring our country by singing the National Anthem, each child took a turn at the plate facing ace pitcher, Sister Margaret Rose! After all students had batted, they enjoyed a 7th inning stretch, complete with the singing of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and headed inside for snack time! Everyone at QOA wishes the Phillies much success this season!
