Rising Temps, More Thunderstorms, 'Hazardous' Weather On The Way To Montco
How hot will it get Tuesday? And is another big storm on the way to Montgomery County?
Rising temperatures and isolated thunderstorms could make for an interesting Tuesday afternoon, with a high of 87 being reached at 3 p.m. just as a storm front could be moving through.
There’s about a 30 percent chance of Isolated thunderstorms from 3-4 p.m. Some rain is possible until 5 p.m. as well, but it will likely be a small amount.
Another storm is on the way, however, and forecasters are being a little more forward about that one. A “hazardous weather outlook” has been issued for Montgomery County and much of southeastern Pennsylvania for Tuesday through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. West wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. Light west wind increasing to 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
