Route 422 Lane Closures In Montgomery County To Begin Sunday

Additional traffic can be expected for the upcoming week.

Traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one in both directions on Route 422 starting on Sunday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

The lanes will be closed overnight from August 2 until August 7 from 7 p.m. until 5 p.m. for pier repair work, PennDOT said.

Travel restrictions are scheduled in two other locations: Rt. 363 (Trooper Road) between the 422 Interchange and Betzwood Drive, and on Audubon Rd. near its intersection with Route 363, according to PennDOT.

Those roads, which will be getting a sidewalk and curb ramp, will be closed from Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Flagging will control traffic flow in the construction areas, PennDOT said.
