Sauers Tree & Landscape Service Holds Successful

“Strike Out Cancer” Bowling Event and Raises $11,256

For the American Cancer Society Relay for Life

Dresher, PA, June 4, 2014 – Sauers Tree & Landscape Service Inc. has announced today that it held a highly successful fundraising event supporting the American Cancer Society’s Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life. Sauers Tree & Landscape Service is a family owned and run company that has been supporting the American Cancer Society since 2000.

The Sauers 5th Annual “Strike Out Cancer” Fundraiser Bowling Event was held on Saturday, May 17th at the Brunswick Zone in Feasterville, PA.  The 3- hour event was supported by 36 different sponsors and had about 190 participants come out for all of the fun. 51 baskets were raffled off and a Sauers employee 50/50 winner graciously donated back ½ of his winnings in support of the goal. All totaled, the event raised $11,256 for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and exceeded fundraising totals from the four previous Strike Out Cancer Bowling events. The Sauers Team will be participating in the Eastern Montgomery County Relay for Life coming up on June 13 at Hatboro Horsham High School. Currently, Sauers is in the top 50 fundraising teams in the East Central Division which includes both Pennsylvania and Ohio.

This year was the most successful yet and we can’t thank everyone enough for their participation and support. This is a very personal mission for me and I’m deeply committed to making it a huge success year after year. We’re very proud of the fact that over the past 5 years, we’ve raised nearly $50,000 through our combined efforts.”
