Tom Wolf to Be Inaugurated Tuesday

Pennsylvania’s 47th governor will be sworn in Tuesday during a ceremony that starts at noon.

Tom Wolf will be inaugurated at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg. Gates open at 10 a.m.; all guests must be seated by 11:30 a.m. The swearing in will begin at 12 p.m.

Tickets to the swearing in are free. Click here to get tickets. Keep in mind the ceremony is outdoors so those in attendance should dress for the weather.

Lieutenant Governor Michael J. Stack III will be sworn in at 10 a.m. that day.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Tom Wolf and First Lady Frances Wolf will open the Governor’s Residence for an open house and free public tours. No tickets are required for the open house. Shuttles to the Governor’s Residence will be available from downtown Harrisburg at the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg.
