Upper Moreland High School Senior Signs to WCU Baseball

Robert Knox, four-year varsity starter at UMHS, signed a letter of intent to play baseball at West Chester University.

In early May, Upper Moreland High School senior Robert Knox signed his letter of intent to play baseball at 

West Chester University. Robert is a four-year varsity starter in the outfield and as a pitcher. He has been a member of two Conference Championship teams and a District Championship team.

In this, his senior year, he leads the team in runs scored with 21. He is currently batting .341 with 11 RBI's. As a junior, Robert led the team in batting (.458) and runs scored (24) while compiling an on-base percentage of .536.

He has been a First Team Suburban One League award winner for two consecutive years, and as a member of the Carpenter Cup Team, he hit a home run at Citizens Bank Park
