
UPPER MORELAND, PA — The Upper Moreland School District named their October student of the month: Debby Park.
Debby, a senior, received the award from Willow Grove Rotary President Neil Klinghoffer.
Debby has previously received the President's Volunteer Service Award for completing more than 250 hours of community service over the past year.

Here's what the school has to say about Debby:
"Debby is the President of Student Council and the National Honor Society. She is a member of the Reading Olympics, Interact Club, Spanish Club, Cross County and Track Team and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Debby is an accomplished musician. She plays in Jazz Band 1 and String Orchestra. Debby performs with the Temple Music Prep Youth Chamber Orchestra, and volunteers with the Philly Camerata Choir & Orchestra which performs benefit concerts as well as performing for our Veterans. Debby advanced to PMEA District Orchestra, Regional Orchestra and All-State Orchestra and she was selected 3rd Chair at the State level. Outside of school, Debby volunteers with the Salvation Army. She has done mission work at Grace & Peace Church in Philadelphia, as well as in Mexico."

Debby is undecided on where she will attend school next fall, but plans to study biology.
