
The identity of the victim in a fatal crash in Abington in the early hours Sunday morning has been released.
Jeffrey Crescenzo, 35, of Ambler, was behind the wheel of a BMW convertible at about 1:59 a.m. on November 1, police said, driving near 1837 Old York Road, when something caused him to drift off the side of the road.
The car then struck a pole and a dumpster before rolling onto its side and slamming into another utility pole, Abington police said.

Crescenzo was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, a 38-year-old woman from Hatboro, was not seriously injured and was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment, according to police.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by Abington Police.
