Willow Grove Community Development Corporation Welcomes New Executive Director

Willow Grove Community Development Corporation Board of Directors is proud to announce its new Executive Director, Nancy Szamborski. She was selected to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Jack Tarman, who has served since 2009.

“We are pleased to announce this appointment,” notes Henry Jacquelin, Willow Grove CDC Board chair. “Nancy brings a strong history of leadership and a deep commitment to our mission and services.”

Ms. Szamborski has had a distinguished professional career in nonprofit and government management, real estate, property management, and social services. She previously served as executive director of Bucks County Housing Group and regional housing director for NAS JRB Willow Grove and NAWC Warminster. Ms. Szamborski was awarded the Navy’s Meritorious Civilian Service Medal. Her earlier career included human services as a social worker and therapist for several agencies and hospitals. A graduate of Penn State and LaSalle Universities, Ms. Szamborski holds degrees in Psychology, Social Welfare, and Organization and Management.

“I’m delighted to be at the helm of Willow Grove CDC,” states Nancy Szamborski. “I am dedicated to providing quality housing to low and moderate income households, and plan to expand our housing-related services to a wider group of community members. We are also hoping to recruit volunteers to assist with fundraising, housing inspections, and social media networking.”
