Willow Grove Park: From Amusement Park to Shopping Mall
Historian and reenactor Judy Parrish will discuss the history of Willow Grove Park at the Historical Society of MOntgomery County.
Saturday, June 11, 2016, 12:30 p.m., join historian and reenactor Judy Parrish at the Historical Society of Montgomery County for the history of Willow Grove Park.
Dressed in period costume, Ms. Parrish will discuss the history of Willow Grove Park and the changes it went through over its eighty years of operation. The former amusement park is not the home of Willow Grove Park Mall which opened in August 1982.
The program is free and open to the public. The Historical Society of Montgomery County, located at 1654 DeKalb Street, Norristown, PA, is handicapped accessible.
