Willow Grove Resident Wins $2K Scholarship From CPA Society

Well done, Joshua Dandridge!

WILLOW GROVE, PA — A Willow Grove resident has been awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the organization announced Wednesday.

Joshua Dandridge, a 2013 Upper Moreland High School graduate, is currently a student at West Chester University.

The award recognizes Dandridge's outstanding scholastic achievement in accounting. A total of 90 students at Pennsylvania colleges and universities received scholarships.

“I’m thrilled that the Foundation was able to award scholarships to so many talented students this year,” said Michael Colgan, PICPA’s CEO and executive director. “The future of the accounting profession depends on the stewardship of these students, and their top-notch dedication and commitment to their education shows that the future couldn’t be more promising.”

Dandridge is a decorated student, having also won the Donna Carney Community Service Award, the Board of Governors Scholarship, and a Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges recognition, the organization said.
