“ F3 = fall, flora & fauna in LMT ! “
This morning the “ groundhog “ that lives under one of the sheds in the driveway “ munching on its “ salad bar “ of vegetation again – nice and “ chunky “ for winter hibernation – more “ gray “ now than summer brown ! But can move very fast when want and have too !
At dusk yesterday, four [4] so familiar “ female deer “ – one fawn from spring – now all grown up but slightly smaller than the other three [3] - visiting again in driveway “ grazing “ on vegetation also and came up for drink from small pond on patio – Gee ! – all got along and waited their turn !

Some of the wildlife “ pets “ besides the domestic pets of course – but many advantages – e.g., do not need to provide food, water, cleanup, vet bills, etc.- they are on their own & prefer it that way !
Deer now also in their more “ gray “ winter fur – blend in better – “ good camouflage “ difficult to see in winter if no snow - from their lighter” brown “ of summer.

Nothing like seeing about a dozen deer, dozen wild turkeys and some local cats all in back meadow area just “ lounging together, “ but spaced judiciously far enough apart to be comfortable with each other, in the setting sun or sunrise – all getting along, yet all so different !
Then the “ flora “ – just have to live here since 1974 to more fully appreciate it.
Everyday something new to discover and enjoy even after al these years !
LMT does not get any better than this !
Still the “Jewel of Lehigh County! “
“ Challenge “ to get more to experience, appreciate and preserve it !
