2013 Toyota Matrix Review

Looking for a family car that still makes you feel young again? Perhaps the new 2013 Toyota Matrix is just what you've been looking for.
The Toyota Matrix is a hatchback with a sporty facade that belies its durable and utilitarian nature. With its aggressively styled front end and swept contours from grill to d pillar, the Toyota Matrix is guaranteed to turn heads when you park your car.
But what about its functionality? No worries there either, as the Toyota Matrix sports nearly a full twenty cubic feet of storage space behind the backseat and nearly fifty cubic feet when the 60/40 folding rear backseat is lowered.
Including the 60/40 split seat in the rear, the Toyota Matrix can seat up to five people. And to keep your passengers safe, the Toyota Matrix includes the Star Safety System. Patterned after the Toyota Camry, the Toyota Matrix includes many of the same safety features.
Also included are driver and passenger active headrests, adjustable front shoulder anchors, driver and front passenger seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters and six airbags to cover every one of the passengers. Including dual driver/passenger airbags.

So how's it handle? Like a dream. With a 150 plus horsepower, four cylinder engine you have all the juice you need for smooth highway performance. Stability is aided by MacPherson strut front suspension with stabilizer bar and torsion beam rear suspension with stabilizer bar. Standard includes front wheel drive, with all wheel drive available on select models.
