House Bill 440 would close the Delaware Loophole, which allows many corporations to avoid paying state taxes, and implement comprehensive business tax reforms. The bill now heads to the Senate.
A bill that addresses the growing problem of cyber bullying may soon come up for a vote in the House. House Bill 1163 would make it a third-degree misdemeanor to use electronic communications to repeatedly make derogatory statements about a child. We have all seen the news reports about the devastating impact cyber bullying can have on a young person, including, in some cases, suicide.
