ALLENTOWN, PA---Prudential Patt, White Real Estate has been named a recipient of the Spirit of Volunteerism Award by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley for their work with the Cancer Support Community, previously known as the Wellness Community. In this celebration of volunteerism in the Lehigh Valley, presented by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, the 10th Annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards event will be held on Thursday, November 8 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. “We are truly gratified to be a part of volunteerism in the Lehigh Valley,” adds Prudential Patt, White’s Senior VP & Regional Manager Brad Patt, “and are proud of the support that we give to the Cancer Support Community.”
The Volunteer Center's Tenth Annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards honors local businesses who have demonstrated excellence in community service and workplace volunteerism. The event provides these businesses, as well as local non-profits, the opportunity to recognize the impact that employee volunteers have on making a difference in the community.
The Cancer Support Community provides cancer support services to cancer patients, their families and caregivers throughout the Lehigh Valley. Over the last 15 years, the Company has donated more than $425,000 to an endowed lectureship in oncology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network, and in more recent years, the Cancer Support Community.
