Refreshed project management program offers flexibility

The Department of Continuing Education at Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced a new curriculum for its project management certificate program that allows participants greater flexibility for completion. The program consists of four modules that can be taken consecutively for a Penn State certificate, or independently to satisfy either a desire for a particular skill or recertification requirements. Each module includes instruction in Microsoft Project 2010 as a capstone to the principles learned.

The series, which begins Feb. 21, includes modules on Introduction to Project Management and Initiating the Project; Project Planning; Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling the Project; and Controlling then Closing the Project. The cost is $549 per module and includes all textbooks and course materials. Classes will be held at the Center Valley campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley, Pa., 18034.
