The green cleaning industry is exploding and every product under the sun claims to be green.If you walk down the household section of your local grocer you will see green on everything.

When I began to my research of cleaning products I wanted products that were 100% natural and 100% effective. As I searched for the right products I became overwhelmed with how many companies claimed to be “Green” How was I to determine which products were actually 100% green? I needed to find some sort of standard.

My search brought me to an organization named Green Seal . This organization is recognized as the standard for certifying products as green. I went on their website and was able to find a list of products that are certified green. Green seal offers a wealth of information for consumers and the public, and they work with companies to help them offer products that are environmentally friendly.

Next time you’re shopping for green products look for the Green Seal on the label. It will save you time and you can be confident that the product you are using is truly a green product.
