Coopersburg 5K Draws Hundreds to Main Street

Hundreds of people gathered along Main St. in Coopersburg for the 5th Annual Coopersburg 5K Run and Kids' Fun Run.

Sunny skies welcomed runners as they lined up for the 5th Annual Coopersburg 5K and Kids' Fun Run on Sat., May 28. By 7:30 a.m., hundreds of local residents lined the Main St. in Coopersburg to join in the run or to cheer on their loved ones.

A mix of young and old participated in the event - at some points a child in a stroller would pass by. Red, white and balloons were tied to poles lining the race route, and American flags were offered for supporters to wave as they awaited the runners' arrival across the finish line.

The Village Center on Main St. was the pit stop for the runners and their families.
