Southern Lehigh would shift from Bob Mensch to Pat Browne

The Southern Lehigh communities of , and would be part of a different state Senate district under a statewide redistricting plan that dramatically changes the territory of current Southern Lehigh state Senator Bob Mensch.
Mensch’s 24th district no longer would include Southern Lehigh. All three communities would move to the 16th district, represented by Republican state Senator Pat Browne.
The plan removes all of Republican Mensch’s Lehigh Valley municipalities except Williams Township in Northampton County.

The state House, meanwhile, would be a different story. Nothing would change. All three communities would remain in the 131st district, represented by Republican Justin Simmons.
Mensch's current Lehigh County office is located in Emmaus at 1245 Chestnut Street, Unit 5, phone (610) 965-1466. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Simmon's district office is located in Lower Saucon at Route 378 & Black River Rd, Suite A, phone 610-861-5201. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, also available by appointment.
