Community Outreach Benefit

Plans are being made by the COB Team for the 12th annual Community Outreach Benefit to be held Sun., July 28, 1-7 PM at St. John's UCC in Coopersburg.  The benefit is held to raise money for local individuals/families struggling financially due to overwhelming medical bills.  COB has helped 34 families by raising $420,000 to date.  The 2013 recipients are: Jackson Valois-Campbell, 2 years old from Lanark born with severe respiratory and heart issues; Mark Rabenold, a Center Valley gentleman who has been on kidney dialysis since 2009 and in need of a transplant; Shelby Van Vliet, a 13 year old Hellertown girl who suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy and severe scoliosis.  Please plan to attend our block-party style event with chinese and live(auctioneer) auctions, children's games, food, hourly live entertainment:Large Flowerheads, Gesture Without Motion, The New Fellowship Trio, Flyin O'Brien's, Auctioneer Greg Somers, Craig Thatcher and Nyke Van Wyk.  All this and MORE--the MEGA Raffle of $10,000 with a second prize of $1,000!!
