PTSD is a type of mental health condition resulting from exposureto any psychological trauma. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety. Veterans returning home from war often have PTSD.

“I encourage any of our local veterans who may be suffering from PTSD, or anyone who may have suffered a traumatic event, to join us for this worthwhile event,” said Simmons. “A panel of experts will be on hand to provide informationon the disorder and answer questions from the audience, including how and where to seek support.”
