FIRSTRUST BANK ANNOUNCES FINALISTS FOR "PHILLY'S BUSINESS FIRST AWARDS"

Firstrust Bank has announced the 21 finalists to compete in the Philly’s Business First Awards. Finalists were chosen from a strong pool of 652 nominated businesses. The grand prize winner, chosen by your votes, wins $15,000 to be split with the charity of their choice.

“The nominations we received exceeded our expectations,” said Richard J. Green, CEO and Vice Chairman of Firstrust Bank. “The commitment of all the nominees toward community service, honesty and customer service, among many other values, is truly remarkable.”

Now in its third year, the Philly’s Business First Awards were created to shine a spotlight on local businesses making a positive difference in the community as nominated and voted on by the public.

Last year, 535 businesses were nominated for the Philly’s Business First Awards. The winner, Philadelphia law firm Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy P.C., generously donated their grand prize of $15,000 to Fresh Smiles Foundation, an organization that works to foster the development and growth of children whose lives have been adversely impacted by financial roadblocks.

Voting for the winners will close on January 16th and top winners will be announced within ten days thereafter. Members of the public are invited to vote daily at www.bizfirstawards.com.
