Liberty Bell School Staff Staging Musical

The faculty of Liberty Bell Elementary School in Coopersburg will be performing the musical comedy "Good Manners: A Medieval Quest for Good Behavior" this week. The show is a fundraiser to help raise money for the school's new playground equipment.

Evening shows will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 and Friday, Dec. 7 at the school at 960 W. Oxford St. Admission is adults, $8 in advance, $10 at the door and children, ages 2-12, $4 in advance, $5 at the door. Checks can be made out to Liberty Bell PTA.  

"The staff involved has been rehearsing two and three times a week before and after school since September," according to principal Samuel Hafner. "The production is being led by Mr. Phil Markley, [a] 2^nd Grade teacher. All proceeds will go toward our new playground equipment since it is so pricey." 

There will be a 2 p.m. show Thursday, Dec. 6 for the students.
