Southern Lehigh Senior Citizens Enjoy Dinner Theater Courtesy of Solehi HS
Southern Lehigh High School offers senior citizens from around the area a chance to have a special dinner and first-viewing of this spring's musical, "Annie."
As is the tradition for Southern Lehigh High School, a night of free food and entertainment was offered to over 350 senior citizens from the area. A turkey dinner was served along with fruit salad, rolls and a delicious dessert of raspberry cheesecake and coffee or tea.
Students from the SLHS Key Club served the seniors with happy faces and willing hearts.
The dinner was free, but donations were accepted totaling over $800 by the end of the night. Contributions will be given to the SLHS Key Club and Drama Club to be used toward their future needs.

Following the meal, seniors were invited to watch the 2011 SLHS Spring Musical – Annie – that was also free. SLHS offers this free meal and entertainment option to senior citizen for the fall play and the spring musical every year.
