Police: Lower Milford Man Assaulted Father

Brandon J. Matlack hit his dad during an argument, Lower Milford Township Police say.

Brandon J. Matlack, 21, of 7703 Lone Lane, is accused of allegedly hitting his father, James Matlack, in the face and body and threatening to kill him.

About 10 p.m. Oct. 20, the father and son reportedly got into an argument and Brandon stuck a knife into a photograph on a wall and threatened to kill James, according to a report filed by . Brandon then allegedly struck his father.

The son faces charges of simple assault, criminal mischief and terroristic threats.

Matlack was released on $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 28.
