Lower Milford Zoning Hearing Board “Saddened” by Death of J. Howard Shelly

Shelly was member of Zoning Hearing Board for over 40 years.

Lower Milford zoning board members said they are saddened by the recent death of longtime colleague J. Howard Shelly.

“He was a zoning board member for over 40 years,” said Solicitor Margo S. Weiner at the May 25 meeting, “and faithfully attended almost every zoning board meeting.”  Shelly was also the chairman of the board for many years.

“He had common sense, was honest, [and] had integrity,” said Weiner.  “We were very blessed to have him on the zoning board and we will miss him.”
