Six Southern Lehigh Players are named to All Star Team

Last week, the Colonial League announced that six SoLeHi players were voted to the Colonial League All Star Team.  Players include Spencer Iversen, named to the 1st Team as Catcher, D.J. Williams, named to the  1^st Team as an Outfielder,  Joe Privitera named to the  2^nd Team  as 2^nd Base,  and Jeff Smillie, named to 2^nd Team as an Outfielder.  Connor Vanin received Honorable Mention as Shortstop and Petey Long received Honorable Mention as Pitcher.  Iversen, Williams, Privitera and Smillie are all Seniors, while Vanin is a Junior and Long is a Freshman.

The Spartan Boys fell to the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs Saturday 14-0 in Colonial League play-off action.  Northern Lehigh went on to lose to Pen Argyl in the Colonial League Championship, played Saturday evening.  The rainy weather all week caused numerous game cancellations and resulted in both the play-off and final games being played on the same day.

SoLeHi will go on to play in District 11 tournament action, which begins Monday, May 23rd.
