
Spartan Boys Tennis
The Spartan boys tennis team finished up the season in high style by clinching the Colonial League Championship. The boys won their semi-final match against Notre Dame Green Pond 4-1 on Tuesday, earning them a spot in the finals game against Moravian, who defeated Bangor 5-0 to earn their spot in the finals. The Spartans were boosted by outstanding performances by Eric Perez, Michael DiSanto and Brendan Ferraro, who all won their singles matches.
Southern Lehigh wraps up its third consecutive championship, after having lost to Moravian in a semi-final game in 2008.

Boys Varsity Baseball (10-4)
Boys Varsity Baseball continues their dominance in the Colonial League South Division. The boys logged victories over Notre Dame Green Pond (11-1) and Palisades (22-15). This week brings the last two games in regular play (Saucon and Salisbury). Wins in these games will insure the Spartan sluggers first place in the Colonial League South Division and insure them a spot in the League play-off games.

HS Track and Field (Boys 4-7, Girls 4-7)
Both the boys and girls Track teams experienced tough team losses to Palmerton and Palisades, finishing up the season with identical records. The Colonial League Championships will be held Thursday, May 12 at Bangor high school. Individual athletes from Southern Lehigh could still participate in the Colonial League Championships. Seeds for the championship will be announced Monday evening.
Girls Varsity Softball (12-1)
The Spartan girls posted identical 6-0 wins against Palisades and Notre Dame GP but remain in second place behind Saucon (12-0), who remains undefeated in League play. The two teams will face each other on Monday and a win by Southern Lehigh is needed for a shot at first place in the Colonial League South Division. The softball team also faces Salisbury on Wednesday.
Colonial League Championship game play will be announced once regular season play is completed.
Girls Soccer (10-2-1)
The Spartan Girls soccer team defeated Moravian (2-0) on Monday and Wilson (3-1) on Wednesday, positioning them in second place in the Colonial League South Division. Colonial League play-off action will commence with semi-finals on Wednesday and finals on Friday. Teams will be announced once final games are completed this week.
SLMS Track Hosts Invitational
The SLMS Track and Field hosted an Invitational track meet on Saturday. Schools from Leham, Palisades, Easton, JT Lambert, Wilson, and Pleasant Valley participated. Noteworthy results from Southern Lehigh Athletes include:
