The Colonial cup takes into account championships won by teams in the Colonial League.  Points are awarded for each first, second and third place.  The team that earns the most points, wins the cup.

The overall Colonial League cup was first awarded in the 2002-2003 school year.  A Colonial cup for girls sports and a colonial cup for boys sports were added in the 2005-2006 school year.  Since the inception, Southern Lehigh only captured the overall cup one other time, although they have captured the cup for boys sports 4 of the 6 years it has been awarded.  This is the first cup for girls sports the School District has ever received.
