10 Freddy Nominations for Southern Lehigh's '42nd Street'

Southern Lehigh High School's production of "42nd Street" is nominated for 10 Freddy Awards, including Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical.

Tyler Martin in nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Featured Dancer. Danielle Renner is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Featured Female Ensemble Member, and Shelby White is nominated for Outstanding Featured Performance by an Actress.

The nominations were announced live Thursday on WFMZ, Channel 69.

The nominations are as follows:

• Outstanding Performance by a Featured Dancer: Tyler Martin
• Outstanding Performance by a Featured Female Ensemble Member: Danielle Renner.
• Outstanding Achievement in Lighting
• Outstanding Chorus
• Outstanding Use of Scenery
• Outstanding Choreography
• Outstanding Featured Performance by an Actress: Shelby White
• Outstanding Production Number: "We're in the Money"
• Outstanding Stage Crew
• Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical

Parkland High School and Freedom High School tied in the highest number of nominations, 15. 

Southern Lehigh's "42nd Street" was performed in late February and early March.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on WFMZ from the State Theatre in Easton beginning at 7 p.m. May 23.
