Terry Haggerty Resigns from Lower Milford Recreation and Open Space

Haggerty served on the board for five years.

Members of the Lower Milford Recreation and Open Space Board were "saddened to hear" of the resignation of board member Terry Haggerty, effective April 14.

Board chairman Gary Campbell, in an interview after the board's June 8 meeting, said Haggerty resigned due to work commitments and doesn't have enough time to spend on the board.

Board of Supervisors chair Donna Wright said at the June 8 meeting the supervisors regretfully accepted the resignation and sent him a letter thanking him for his five years of service.

Recreation and Open Space Board members also agreed at the meeting to send Haggerty a letter of thanks.

Campbell said at the meeting that Haggerty “put a lot of hours and soul into his position on the board. He was also one of the key people to getting grant money for the [creation of] Lower Milford Park."

“We will miss him,” said Wright, “and we are sorry to see him go.”
