Ford’s laptop was seized with the use of a warrant, and according to the complaint, “55 videos/images were located that … depict children, under the age of 18 years old, engaged in sexual acts and/or poses. The images depicted children as young as infants and also children in sexual bondage.”

The complaint says police were tipped off to Ford’s alleged activities by Allentown Det. Thomas Anderson. Anderson, a member of the Criminal Investigation Division, “was conducting an on-line internet investigation to identify those possessing and sharing child pornography,” the complaint says.
Anderson located a computer sharing 125 files, 18 of which previously had been identified as “files of interest.” Anderson then downloaded three of the files, took screen captures of the images and traced the user by using the IP (Internet Protocol) address to an address in Ridley (Delaware County). The address turned out to be that of Ford’s mother, Elaine Ford, the complaint says.
The information was then handed over to Peifer of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division. Peifer is a member of a task force that, according to the complaint, “directs its efforts in the area of Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC).”
Officers served Ford's mother with a search warrant, and she revealed that Christian Ford was her son and that he lives with his wife in Harleysville (Montgomery County). The complaint goes on, “Mrs. Ford stated that her son Christian Ford stays at her residence approximately three days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, and is an EMT for Woodlyn [Delaware County] Fire Company 67. He also runs for an ambulance in Coopersburg, PA.”
For this update, a representative of Coopersburg EMS could not be reached for comment or to confirm or deny that Ford is a current squad member.
