Upper Saucon Compost Hours Extended
Due to the volume of downed branches from the storm, the township's compost will be open longer for the next few days.
Upper Saucon Township has extended the hours for the Compost Center through next week, Joseph Geib, special projects coordinator for the township. The hours are:
- Saturday, Nov. 5: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 6: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Monday, Nov. 7 through Friday, Nov. 11: 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 12: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 13: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Access to Liberty Road is closed from the Main Street side due to construction until Monday, Nov. 7. Road Crews have created access from Robin Lane, so drivers can follow the posted detour.
