4 Injured In Serious Street Road Crash Saturday Night

Four people, including a child, were injured in a serious crash Saturday night on Street Road in Upper Southampton Township.

Four people were injured in a serious crash Saturday night on Street Road in Upper Southampton Township. According to police, the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. along the 300 block of Street Road.

Two cars, each carrying two people, crashed nearly head-on. All four people, including a juvenile who was flown to CHOP, were injured. The current condition of the victims is not known at this time.

According to police, the driver of the car traveling westbound on Street Road had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Southampton Fire Company, then transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center by Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad. The juvenile passenger in this vehicle was transported to Abington Hospital and later flown to CHOP for further evaluation.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle traveling eastbound were both transported to Abington Hospital for treatment.
