The Southampton-Warminister Area Lions Club recently held their 9th Annual 5K Run for Sight. The race was held on Saturday, July 4th, 2015 at Klinger Jr. High School in Southampton , PA. The race attracted almost 200 participants and took place through the trails of Tamanend Park. This year's Overall and Men's group winner was Matthew McGorrey, 17 years old from Alpharetta GA in a time of 17 minutes, 18 seconds and the Overall women's group winner was Nancy Kaiser, 44 of Durham NC in a time of 21 minutes, 12 seconds. The top local finisher was Henry Colby, 20 of Southampton, PA.
