JUST PAINTERS ART SHOW AT TAMANEND PARK, MAY 19

The local art group, Just Painters, will be having its annual Tamanend Park Art Show this Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., located in the Carriage House, 1255 2nd Street Pike, Southampton.

Art instructor, Miriam Warfield, who has displayed her work in art shows and galleries in New York, New Hope, and Peddler’s Village, holds two weekly classes in her Ivyland studio. Everyone has great fun improving their skills and critiquing each other's art.

As the culmination of the year's work, her students will exhibit their oil, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings, as well as hand-painted silk scarves, portfolio paintings, matted prints, and cards. Although there are different media used, all of these artists have a passion for creativity, self-expression, and desire to share their work. Many have been painting together for over 15 years.

All are welcome to shop, browse, and enjoy the incredible artwork at the Tamanend Art Show. There, visitors will be able to meet the artists to discuss their work and inspiration.

Refreshments will be served for added enjoyment.
