Bucks County Job Seekers Invited to Enter 'Make Me Over' Contest

One lucky Bucks County job seeker will win a
brand-new laptop computer, resume writing help, free physical fitness classes and
more as part of RecruitmentQueen’s BIG! Make Me Over Contest.

To enter, Bucks County residents who are at
least 18 years old and actively looking for a job or new career must submit a
creative and compelling video up to 90 seconds long highlighting the need for
the makeover. Deadline for entry is Aug. 8. Following a public voting round on
all the videos, a winner will be crowned at the BIG! Bucks County Career Fair
on Sept. 9 at the Sheraton Hotel in Langhorne.

“On average, job seekers spend 11 to 15 hours a week looking
for a job,” RecruitmentQueen CEO Jennifer Schultz said. “This can be a
challenge if they are pursuing an education most of the time or working part
time somewhere until they can find that full time job.”

Since Schultz could not add more hours to the day, she, along
with her co-sponsors, decided to offer some great time-saving prizes aimed at
helping job seekers have a more professional resume and LinkedIn profile, as
well as look and feel better as they venture out to career fairs, job
interviews and business networking.
