Bucks County Wine Trail Sets Dates for Annual Spring Tour

Great tastes await for every palate during the Bucks County Wine Trail's Spring Tour this May.

Each of the nine Bucks County wineries will pair their wines with complementary food during the Southern Tour (May 15 self-guided visits to five wineries) and a Northern Tour (May 22 self-guided visits to four wineries).

Tickets are limited to 300 for each tour, according to Bucks County Wine Trail President Jim Jenks, owner of Unami Ridge Winery. Selling more tickets than that would mean extra-long lines of people waiting for wine and food samples.

“The Bucks County Wine Trail’s goal is to give everyone the best experience possible,” Jenks said. “We have many repeat customers who, year after year, bring along new friends to sip and savor Bucks County’s finest wines.”

Attendees have traveled from Philadelphia and New Jersey to sample the wine trail’s offerings paired with cheeses, chocolates and other scrumptious fare. Each winery is paired with a high-end food vendor.

Since 2011 the Bucks County Wine Trail has offered its Spring Tour in two installments. Prior to that, a one-day tour was offered, but it was difficult for guests to visit nine wineries in one day.
