Centennial School Board to Meet Tonight
Centennial's Board of School Directors will meet for the first time since some legal issues have surfaced.

Centennial's school board will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 13, for its first meeting since school began. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m.
This will be the first school board meeting since some lawsuits against Centennial School District surfaced.
On Aug. 25, Upper Southampton Patch reported that Dr. Thomas Turnbaugh quietly resigned from his post as the school district's superintendent in late 2010 after what court documents allege was a year filled with.

Months prior to the filing of a sexual harassment claim against the district by Donna Dunar, former Assistant Superintendent of Schools Sandy Homel also filed a federal lawsuit against Centennial School District. . The documents filed in support of her case paint the picture of an administration rife with cronyism, cover-ups and rampant political agendas.
Additionally, Patch reported that Homel said she applied for the position of superintendent of schools following the resignation of Mike Masko in July 2008, but that she was denied the position because some —a kiln.

Lawyers representing Centennial School District issued a statement in response to media coverage on Thursday, Sept. 1, which stated that "The School District is confident that it will prevail in the litigation and the School Board only asks that the community be patient as these disputes are resolved in the courts."
According to tomorrow evening's meeting agenda, the lawsuits are not issues for discussion.
